Born in Gloucester County, New Jersey, George Fauver stepped forward during the Revolutionary War to serve as a Private in the New Jersey Militia under Captains DuBois, Patterson, and Peck. His units carried out vital defense operations along the active New Jersey theater, guarding crucial supply routes and protecting local settlements against raids. Following the war, Fauver joined the westward expansion, relocating his family to Lorain County, Ohio, where he helped establish early pioneer settlements. He lived to the age of 83 and is officially recognized as an NSSAR and DAR Patriot Ancestor.
